From December 5, 2009 to January 6, 2010, Nice is putting on its festive lights to mark the 14th edition of the Christmas Village and will honor Russia, the year 2010 between France and Russia.

This year, the traditional tree markets will be held daily from Saturday 12 to Thursday, December 24, 2009, from 7 am to 20h:
- Promenade des Anglais south sidewalk, between the beaches of Beau Rivage and Centennial;
- Parvis de la Gare du Sud, western sidewalk of Avenue Malausséna;
- Square Goiran: Avenue Saint-Sylvestre, between Avenue Maximiliana and Boulevard Cessole.

Christmas Village
Daily from 11 am to 20 pm sixty cottages gathered in the Christmas village and offering a wide range of handcrafted Christmas products including three specifically devoted to the Russian craft.

Animation
In a winter wonderland setting the tone of the festivities, visitors will discover the enchanted forest of 750 trees, a selection of events are held, they will focus on Russian folklore organized by the City of Nice

- Concerts and shows every day
- Santa Claus
- Ferris wheel and rides
- In the center of the forum, a large arena will host the novice or experienced actors during four sessions of one hour and half each day.
